Good Grace – Shared Grace

Is grace just something between me and God? Far from it! In fact our relationship to Jesus is connected to our relationship with others. As we receive God’s grace – His love and power to save us and empower us to live – we are to share it with others. So how do we do that? We’ll explore that in the message today and help you know how to do it!

  1. What are some “habits” that you have formed well in your life?
  2. Often habits are simply willpower and repetition – what makes habits of grace and the Holy Spirit’s enabling so different?
  3. What is our part in the whole process of taking small steps – and how can we help one another do that?
  4. Understanding is good, but obedience is better – so what are some practical examples of:
    • Hating what is wrong
    • Holding tightly to what is good
    • Loving one another with genuine affection
    • Taking delight in honoring one another
    • Working hard and serving the Lord enthusiastically (by doing the things for others above)
    • Rejoicing in our confident hope in Jesus
    • Being patient through trouble
    • Keeping on praying
    • Helping God’s people when they are in need
    • Eagerly practicing hospitality
