Events and Activities For Families

Thanks again Justice for leading us in this fun Jelly Bean Poem. If you have preschoolers – this is a fun (and yummy) way to help them remember the important things that Jesus did for us!

This Week for Preschoolers

Story: Jesus told His friends to tell everyone that He loves them and He wants to be their friend forever. – Matthew 28:16-20
Say This: Who wants to be your friend forever? Jesus wants to be my friend forever.
Remember This: “How wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ.” – Ephesians 3:18, NIV
Do This At Bath Time: Grab some bath crayons and take turns drawing pictures on the tub. Each time one of you draws a picture, tell each other all about it. As you dry your child off, tell them that Jesus has something He wants us to go and tell. Jesus wants us to go and tell everyone everywhere that He loves them and He wants to be their friend forever!

This Week for Elementary Kids

Story: Abigail Intervenes – 1 Samuel 25:1-35
Say This: You can show you care about others by being part of the solution.
Remember This: “Wait for the Lord. Be strong and don’t lose hope. Wait for the Lord.” – Psalm 27:14, NIrV
Do This At Bed Time: When someone or something makes you mad, it is so easy to say or do the first thing that comes to mind. It takes a lot more strength to bite your tongue and choose not to fight. Sometimes it even helps to actually walk away so that you don’t say or do something you’ll regret later. Pray that God will show you, this week, when to care about others by walking away from a fight.

This Week for Preteens

Story: Abigail Intervenes – 1 Samuel 25:1-35
Ask This: What are ways you can be a peacemaker?
Remember This: “Wait for the Lord. Be strong and don’t lose hope. Wait for the Lord.” – Psalm 27:14, NIrV
Do This At Bed Time: When someone or something makes you mad, it is so easy to say or do the first thing that comes to mind. It takes a lot more strength to bite your tongue and choose not to fight. Sometimes it even helps to actually walk away so that you don’t say or do something you’ll regret later. Pray that God will show you, this week, when to care about others by walking away from a fight.

We’re almost back – it’s so close!!  Our next online event will be next week on April 28th, and our feature game will be “Your Only Had One Job.”  Looking forward to seeing you there!
