Events and Activities For Families

Have you made a set of Resurrection Eggs yet? If YES send them to us at the church office. If NO … what are you waiting for?!

Re-watch the Wagler sisters put together a set of Resurrection Eggs and then gather some supplies to make a set with your family.

We’re making plans for the spring and summer and we need your input. We’re thinking of creative ways to serve our children and families in-person over the next few months. Please take a few minutes to fill out the following survey and let us know how your family is doing, and how you might participate in-person this Spring/Summer.

This Week for Preschoolers

Story: Jesus makes breakfast for His friends, the disciples, so they can see that He is alive. – John 21:1-14
Say This: Who wants to be your friend forever? Jesus wants to be my friend forever.
Remember This: “How wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ.” – Ephesians 3:18, NIV
Do This At Drive Time: As you drive or take a walk, talk about how Jesus did special things for His friends, the disciples, like make them breakfast on a beach. Next, talk about things you both can do to be a good friend. Jesus wants to be our friend forever and He wants us to be a good friend, too

This Week for Elementary Kids

Story: Live in Peace with Others – Colossians 3:15
Say This: We can make peace with others.
Remember This: “Wait for the Lord. Be strong and don’t lose hope. Wait for the Lord.” – Psalm 27:14, NIrV
Do This At Drive Time: Brainstorm a way to have a peaceful drive to your next destination. And technology can’t be the answer! Some ideas could be picking peaceful music, sit in silence and look out the window, or read a favorite book. Enjoy your peaceful ride.

This Week for Preteens

Story: Live in Peace with Others – Colossians 3:15
Ask This: Who do you need to make peace with?
Remember This: “Wait for the Lord. Be strong and don’t lose hope. Wait for the Lord.” – Psalm 27:14, NIrV
Do This At Drive Time: Ask your preteen, “What do you think it means to be a peacemaker? What are ways you can be a peacemaker?”

Hey!  Thanks for hanging out with us this week at CHC Preteens!  Our next online event will be April 28th, and our feature game will be “Your Only Had One Job.”  Looking forward to seeing you there!
